Description: | From Greeley Irish Festival Website: The 2019 festival will be held on Saturday, September 21
The success of the Greeley Irish Festival has been overwhelming. Since 2007, it has been a regional favorite event continuing to draw more and more people each year at this one day event. Our 2019 line up promises to be a memorable day of great entertainment. Offering the most unique line up of Irish music in the world! You'll hear Celtic Rock and Jam Music to Traditional and everything in between.
The festival will take place rain or shine.
The family-friendly festival is alive with the sounds and sights of Ireland with entertainment and activities for all ages to enjoy and explore. Each year, the festival is kicked off with the Family Clan Parade where family sponsors carry their Clan flag with their family crest in the parade led by the Omaha Pipers. Our main and dance stages outside provide "Non-Stop" live Irish entertainment all day long featuring traditional and contemporary Irish entertainers and the crowd favorite, Irish step dance performances. Finishing the evening with our featured performer.
You won't even miss the Nebraska football game. Catch all the action on the big screens in the appropriately named "Big Red Tent" as the Huskers take on their rivals. Returning again this year, join the Jam Session inside the school.
After dark on the Main stage, you will not want to miss our video presentation, "Tribute to the Deceased".
If you can't be in Ireland, be at the Greeley Irish Festival!
