| Description: | From Wayne Chicken Show Website: Coordinated by the Wayne Area Chamber of Commerce, the Chicken Show is a family friendly fun festival held annually the second weekend in July. Founded by the Wayne Regional Arts Council, the first show was held in 1981, to allow humankind to pay tribute to chickenkind (without laying the proverbial egg). National CluckOff, Hard Boiled Egg and Hot Wing Eating and other contests, parade, flyin, car show and Poker Run, and free entertainment.
